Living Waters Lutheran College is seeking a Secondary Chemistry/Physics Teacher for a full-time contract for 2027 (with potential for ongoing). The role involves teaching Years 7-10 Science and senior ATAR Chemistry and Physics.

<p>Living Waters Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable <strong>Secondary Chemistry/Physics Teacher</strong> to join our Secondary School team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach students across Years 7-12, including senior secondary <strong>ATAR Chemistry and Physics</strong>, within a supportive and Christ-centred learning environment. </p>

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the <strong>Head of Science</strong>, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teach Science across Years 7-10.</li>
<li>Deliver engaging and rigorous ATAR Chemistry and Physics programs.</li>
<li>Prepare students for academic success, external assessments and post-school pathways.</li>
<li>Develop and implement practical laboratory investigations.</li>
<li>Use contemporary teaching practices to maximise student engagement and achievement.</li>
<li>Analyse student data to inform teaching and improve outcomes.</li>
<li>Contribute to curriculum development, moderation and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Support student wellbeing through positive relationships and restorative practices.</li>
<li>Participate actively in the broader life of the College, including events, professional learning and community activities.</li>

<p><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Education with a major in Chemistry, Physics or Science Education, or an equivalent scientific qualification with a recognised teaching qualification.</li>
<li>Current Teacher Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to teach Secondary Science and senior ATAR Chemistry and Physics.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SCSA curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to meet all child safeguarding and professional obligations. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A personal Christian faith.</li>
<li>Experience achieving strong ATAR outcomes.</li>
<li>Experience preparing students for WACE examinations.</li>
<li>Experience teaching General Science and working within collaborative professional learning teams. </li>
