We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Work in conjunction with the classroom teachers, Learning Support Team and Student Wellbeing Team regarding student welfare concerns<br> Develop and implement a coordinated and restorative approach to the pastoral care of students &nbsp;<br> Support and enhance student leadership opportunities<br> In conjunction with the Head of Junior School and Deputy Head of Junior School - Teaching and Learning , implement the F-6 Social &amp; Emotional Learning curriculum&nbsp;<br> Support the Head of Junior School to monitor the collective tone of students and have a significant presence in the school&nbsp;<br> Liaise with other relevant College staff regarding the development and implementation of policies including student behaviour, uniform, standards and policies<br> In conjunction with the Head of Junior School and other Deputy Head, provide leadership to the Junior School staff and be involved in staff performance, progress and reviews where appropriate&nbsp;<br> The advertised position represents an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team at The College. The Junior School Teacher role is ongoing, however the Deputy Head of Junior School – Pastoral Care is offered for a three-year tenure to the successful applicant. &nbsp;</p> <p>For further information regarding the position, please view the full position description available on our website at https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</p> <p>About You</p> <p>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.<br> Demonstrated passion for Biblically based Christian education.<br> An appropriate qualification in Teacher Education.<br> Demonstrated ability in highly effective classroom teaching.<br> Demonstrated ability to work positively in a team environment.<br> Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.<br> Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate through a variety of means<br> Highly collaborative approach to work.<br> Have a teaching load that includes F-6<br> Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification.<br> What We Offer</p> <p>At The College College, we value our employees beyond the workplace.
